Harvest Grain Policies
FALL 2010 POLICIES AND RATES
Note: All old crop grain on storage or delayed pricing will be assessed a new minimum on September 1, 2010 of 18 cents a bushels.
STORAGE RATES
• Corn: 18 cents per bushel from date of receipt through January 1, 2011; then 3 cents per bushel per month prorated daily through August 31, 2011.
• Soybeans: 18 cents per bushel from date of receipt through January 1 2011; then 3 cents per bushel per month prorated daily through August 31, 2011.
DRYING CHARGES
• Sold Corn -3.5 cents per point of moisture, per bushel, above 15.0% .
• Stored Corn -3.5 cents per point of moisture, per bushel, above 14.5%
• Warehouse Receipt Corn -3.5 cents per point of moisture, per bushel, above 14.0%
Drying charges will be deducted from fall checks, or charged to your account in December, for payment in December 2010, or by January 31, 2011.
• Soybeans: no drying rate; incorporated in the shrink factor.
SHRINK FACTOR
• Corn: 1.4% shrink factor is used - open storage to 14.5%and warehouse receipt to 14.0%; delayed pricing to 14.5%; cash sales to 15.0%. NO AVERAGING OF FARMS AT HARVEST.We will average during non-harvest delivery.
• Soybeans: 1.5% shrink per half point of moisture above 13.0%. Each load stands on it own. NO AVERAGING OF FARMS.
